INSTRUCTION
LECTURE
Project 3 (Final)
Use your character from your previous project 1, animate a 5 to 10
second physical action sequence.
Create a storyboard that visualises the key moments, actions and
emotion of the scene. Incorporate variety of camera shots, angles and
visual continuity to enhance the visual storytelling.
Create a project in Adobe Animate. Set the setting as 24fps, 16:9
aspect ratio with 1280 x 720 (HD720p) resolution.
Perform all the processes that you have learnt in the previous lesson
to produce the final animation such as animate the animation from rough,
tie down, clean up and colouring.
The animation should show the quality of appeal, fluidity, flexibility
and clarity and the understanding of cinematography and
editing.
Edit the final animation with sound effects and background music.
Submission should include:
1. Storyboarding (pdf) - 10%
2. Final animation (mp4 format) -20%
3. E-portfolio (Exercises, Project 1,2 & Final) - 10%
Before starting this task, I first determined my storyboard to
facilitate the subsequent animation.
Then I created the animation based on the storyboard I designed.
First, I drew the general picture of each frame to better highlight
the effect.
Then I exported them from Adobe Animate in png format, which made it
easier for me to color each picture later.
After confirming that each one was correct, I colored it.

FEEDBACK
week 13:
General Feedback: The teacher thinks that some parts of my animation need improvement
Specific Feedback:I need to pay attention to the light and dark of the scene. I need to darken the bamboo leaves in the front to better highlight the theme, and I need to move the character's sword hand closer to the face to match the next scene animation. The hilt needs to be changed. I need to check whether the animation in the middle segment is consistent because the camera looks flustered and unstable. I also need to modify the arc of the sword swinging animation and refine the close-up characters so that the lines are closed.
